Volunteer with OTPA!
OTPA is a non profit organization run by volunteers, from our Board of Directors to our event staff, dedicated to helping preserve Old Towne Orange and we thrive on community involvement! We have a number of committees that are always in need of volunteers throughout the year, and we could use your help!
Please let us know if you would be interested in volunteering on any of the following committees and we’ll have the committee chair and/or board member responsible get in contact with you. It’s a great way to meet new people, get involved in your community, and to help preserve and protect Old Towne Orange.

OTPA contributes to the community of Orange with your help by organizing and participating in:
- Home Tours – Opening up selected historic homes and structures for the public to appreciate.
- International Street Fair – Operating a beverage booth as an annual fund raiser.
- Preservation Awards Dinner – Bringing the community together for an evening of fellowship and fun as we recognize the best in preservation projects.
- Community Involvement – Organize events to introduce OTPA to the community.
- Public Affairs – Attend forums and city meetings to provide OTPA’s opinion and recommendation.
- Education & Research – Creates and executes outreach programs to keep residents informed of appropriate issues, and prepares research material to support OTPA positions.
- Fund Development – Organize and coordinate fundraising events such as the biennial home tour and yearly International Street Fair booth.
- Preservation – Monitors projects affecting Old Towne.
- Communications – Produce newsletters and other communications.
- Membership – Create outreach programs and members only events to increase and add value to our membership.
Your low yearly membership fee directly allows us to continue or vital Mission work of Preserving, Protecting and Enhancing California’s Largest Historical District, Old Towne Orange, and we can’t wait to have you join us!
