OTPA Historic Plaques
Congratulations on being part of a select group of people that have a special affinity for our old homes here in Old Towne Orange! In recognition and in honor of these amazing houses in our historic district the Old Towne Preservation Association issues commemorative and stylish bronze plaques to display proudly outside your door.
Acquiring a historical plaque endorsed by The Old Towne Preservation Association (OTPA) is an easy process but does require some work on your part prior to receiving your plaque. There are many details to research and review, so patience and perseverance are helpful tools. The payoff is that you will be rewarded with valuable insight and information about your beloved home!
If you have any trouble with the research, please contact OTPA at info@otpa.org and we’ll work together to try and solve it. When emailing OTPA, please be sure to include the words “OTPA Plaque” in your email subject line.
Plaque Pricing
Active OTPA members in good standing (Lifetime Members, Household Members, and Business/Commercial Members) receive reduced preferential pricing on the historic plaques — please let us know when ordering if you are a current OTPA member so membership can be verified.
If you’re not a current member, your plaque purchase will include a 1-year membership to OTPA.
Please Note:
Your home must be located within the Orange Historic District and listed as a contributing structure in order for OTPA to endorse and place your plaque order. If you’re not sure of the boundaries, or whether or not your home is contributing, you may consult the “Map of Old Towne Historic District”.

When your research is completed, please contact OTPA via email at info@OTPA.org or leave a voice mail message on OTPA’s hotline at 714 639-6840 and we will get back to you for confirmation and payment details. Your order will then be submitted.
